Returning to work after a WCB Claim/Disablity can be a stressful time for all people involved. The occupational health nurses at Precede can ease this stress as they follow the injured or ill employee from the beginning of the WCB claim/Disability in a professional, supportive and confidential manner. Following an injury it is very important to have the employee assessed to ensure that it is safe for them to return to work. As the employee returns to work on modified duties, the nurse acts as a liaison between the physician, employer and employee to ensure continuity of care.
