Kevin balaneski

Kevin brought his vision of Precede Occupational Health and Safety to life over ten years ago, with over 23 years experience in the area of energy, construction, and an outstanding business acumen. As Chief Executive Officer, he oversees the production, development, business direction, and the development of Precede's strategic business plan. While directing this effort, Kevin is personally responsible for many of our customer portfolios while managing both the safety and transportation departments. 

Prior to partnering to start Precede in 2005, Kevin served as Division Manager/Partner of Matrix Construction. Kevin is keen to engage all stakeholders, staff and industry to achieve common goals. This is evident in Precede's "One Stop Shop" approach to Occupational Health and Safety. Kevin is working with multiple industry participants to continue to modernize the way that Occupational Health Services are performed and the way that services are offered, in addition to aligning these practices to current business models in a variety of industries.

Kevin maintains active involvement in several community service organizations. He is the coach of hockey, lacrosse, and soccer teams for youth in the Red Deer community. He has previously been a volunteer for a variety of children charities which serve children in Central/Southern Alberta. Kevin and his wife Tracy have four beautiful and active children that keep them very busy after hours, and live in Red Deer, Alberta.

Bonnie Krauss is the owner and Occupational Health Nurse Director of Precede Occupational Health and Safety Services Inc. Bonnie graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Alberta in 1995. She began her career working in various surgical and emergency units in the United States as well as in Canada. Bonnie then found her passion for Occupational Health and obtained her Occupational Health Nurse Certification from Grant MacEwan University in 2007. From this love and passion, Precede OHS Inc. was born in 2005 as a family venture, and has been thriving ever since.

Bonnie strives for excellence in everything she does, and is a very passionate and driven leader. She strives for further education and learning opportunities to elevate her knowledge in Occupational Health. Bonnie has obtained many certifications and proficiencies, including: Certified Spirometry Technician since 2005, Certified Audiometric Technician since 2005, Certified Professional Collector Trainer Trained since 2006, Certified Quantifit Technician and trainer since 2007 and Medical Review Officer Assistant since 2012. Other credentials include Reporting Compliance Officer in Canada, Privacy/ Compliance Manager for Precede OHS Inc., DER Compliance Manager for Precede OHS Inc., Advanced Drug Testing Management Instructor, DOT Supervisor Trainer Instructor and Disability Management Consultant since 2005. Bonnie loves spending time with her two children, attending dance competitions and hockey tournaments, and participating in family activities outdoors. Bonnie and her family live in Brooks, Alberta.

Stacey meyer

Stacey Meyer (B.A. B.Ed. M.A.) is routinely responsible for the development, design, operation and improvement of the systems that create and deliver Precede's strategic plans with their partners. He is responsible for ensuring that business operations are efficient and effective and that the proper management of resources, distribution of our health services to partners, and analysis of systems change while improvement remains a priority.

Prior to joining Precede as a Partner in 2014, Stacey spent time working as a Director with the Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre in Calgary, helping to develop programming that offers hope, help, and healing to children, youth, and families impacted by abuse. Stacey also has eighteen years as a teacher, Vice Principal, Principal and Assistant Superintendent in Alberta’s public school system, where he gained extensive knowledge in human resources, leadership, financial operations, and the change continuum. Stacey’s personal and family background is one rich in entrepreneurial spirit and education.  

Stacey currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Mental Health Association (Calgary), as well as with the Okotoks Oilers Jr A Hockey Program. Stacey also sits on the Calgary Child Advocacy Centre’s Education Committee, and is the Education Advisor for the Okotoks Dawgs Baseball Academy. Youth, education, leadership and sports are a passion of Stacey's, and as such, he spends countless hours working with youth as a coach, mentor, and advisor in a variety of volunteer positions. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Lethbridge, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina, and his Masters of Arts (Leadership and Administration) from San Diego State University. Stacey and his wife Tammy have three children; Jordan, Jessa and Eric, and live in the Okotoks, Alberta area.

Dr. Jalees Razavi

Dr. Razavi is an Occupational Medicine specialist physician who has held various clinical, administrative, and executive leadership roles, including during his tenures at Saudi Aramco and Imperial Oil Limited/ExxonMobil Canada. His current focuses include Occupational Health program design and implementation for small, medium, large, national, and international companies, improving workplace productivity and return on investment through wellness and prevention, and conducting evidence-based fitness for and return to work assessments and providing expert advise on causation in a workplace setting. Dr. Razavi designed and delivered many successful workplace mental and Occupational Health programs to urban and remote workplaces in Saudi Aramco (Dhahran, Abqaiq, Ras Tanura and the Empty Quarter) and Imperial Oil (Oil Sand Projects, upstream and downstream). He also designed and supervised the delivery for Emergency Medicine in remote areas for special events such as the most recent ExxonMobil Board visit to Canada. Because of his efforts, in 2009, Imperial Oil Ltd. became a recognized residency training site by the University of Alberta followed by the University of Calgary in 2013. He also coined the current Imperial Oil Ltd slogan of "Have a healthy career". Dr. Razavi has a proven track record in ability assessments and injury evaluations. He also provides expert medical-legal opinions on causation and OSHA recordability. He is an expert on successful organizational restructuring and working with multinational corporations. We are proud to have Dr. Razavi as Precede’s Lead Occupational Health Physician.
